Privacy notice for sign-ups
A plain-English summary for the quiz, and the printable log on this website. It is a draft until a lawyer has reviewed it. The full privacy policy covers the app and the website.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you type it into a sign-up box.
- Your quiz answers and a short result label (such as "moderate"), only if you sign up from the quiz result. If any safety question was "Yes", there is no sign-up box and we keep nothing.
- Where you signed up (quiz, printable log or trainer waitlist) and your choiceon the "email me" box, with the time you made it.
- When you confirmed, unsubscribed, or were sent our launch email, so we never email you twice or after you unsubscribe.
Why
To email you a confirmation link, then the plan when Unwoofled launches and occasional training tips. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Who handles it
- Supabase stores sign-ups in a database that the public cannot read.
- Resend sends our emails, starting with the confirmation email.
- Render hosts this website.
- PostHog counts visits, quiz starts and finishes, and downloads, but only if you press "Allow" on the banner. Until then it runs without cookies and stores nothing on your device. We never send your email address or your quiz answers to PostHog.
Confirming your email
After you sign up we send a confirmation email. We treat you as signed up only after you open the link in it and press Confirm (this is called double opt-in, and it is required in the EU and UK). We do it for everyone. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
Unsubscribe or delete
Use the unsubscribe link in any email and press Unsubscribe, use your email app's unsubscribe button, or write tosupport@unwoofled.com (write an email). Unsubscribing stops every email to that address, whichever form you used, and a later sign-up with the same address does not restart them. After you unsubscribe we keep your address and the date, only so we never email it again. Ask us to delete your sign-up and we will, and we will confirm when it is done. If you live in the EU, UK or Switzerland you can also ask to see or correct the data we hold about you.

These sign-ups are for adults. Please do not sign up if you are under 13.
